Skye was officially revealed on the 8th of October, 2020, with her trailer featuring the song Time which is a collaboration between Alison Wonderland and QUIX. The cinematic's description reads 'The pack leader is on your trail.'
Synopsis[]
Skye's Agent trailer serves as an official introduction for Skye. It begins with a short animated lore segment, revealing a little about her recruitment into the VALORANT PROTOCOL. The rest of the trailer consists of some gameplay, showcasing her abilities.
Plot[]
The Kingdom Facility
The cinematic starts off overlooking a large Kingdom facility, located in a rainforest in Australia. While imposing, it appears overgrown, with wild trees present all through it, and moss starting to form on the structures. The setting sun in the background illuminates the entire facility, and we see several birds cry as they take flight.
The camera moves downwards, through the canopy, into the undergrowth, where we first see Skye. Holding a Phantom, she treads forwards, while talking to Sage through a earpiece. It seems that they are in the middle of a conversation, and the first line we hear is Sage asking Skye, "Do you see it yet?", then adding "this is happening everywhere, Skye".
Her voice conveys a sense of urgency and worry, implying that the PROTOCOL really needs Skye to join (keep in mind that Skye was their first recruit after the Mirrorverse Conflict began).
Skye's reply is firm, stating "I must protect this land, Sage. It's my home." She pulls out a wooden totem shaped like a bird, and uses it to summon her Guiding Light, and sends the bird forward. The camera follows the journey of the bird, showing it flying over a clearing formed over a group of smoldering logs of wood.
All the trees in the area appear to have been brutally destroyed by some strong force. It is clear that the wood has recently been burning, as several logs are still glowing red, and there is a thin smoke in the air.
The camera focuses on Skye's eyes, which open wide in shock. Reflected in her iris, we see distant streaks of lightning tearing through the sky. Sage yells out, sounding exasperated: "It's not just your corner of the world that's in danger!"
Finally, the camera zooms out, showing the sky above the clearing. Looming in the clouds is a massive blue rift, through which arc of lightning periodically emerge. Shocked, Skye says "There's more like this?!". Sage replies in a tired voice, "Too many...".
Skye staring at the Rift
Having finally seen a rift, Skye changes her mind on joining the PROTOCOL. She says, "Alright, Sage... I'm in". She summons her dog, and strikes a pose as the camera switches to the Gameplay.
The gameplay section shows a round that takes place on Ascent. It shows Skye using all her abilities to get her team an advantage, which culminates in them winning through elimination. Finally, the video cuts to the VALORANT logo and the Ignition title card.

- Skye holds the Phantom in her left hand, potentially implying that she is left-handed.
- There are several discrepancies between the first look we get at Skye, and her appearance in the final shot. This is because the first shot is heavily based on some of Skye's old concept art, while the last shot is based on her current avatar. Some of the discrepancies are:
- At the start of the Lore segment, Skye is shown holding a Phantom. However, as she poses at the end, the Phantom has been replaced with a Bucky that is slung behind her back.
- Similarly, Skye had a earpiece on at the start of the segment, which is gone at the end. However, Skye and Sage still communicate unimpededly.
- At the start, Skye wears nothing around her neck, while her final shot shows her with the usual leaf trinket collar.
