Brimstone's office is an Area located under the Range, added in Episode 3: Act 3. It contains several of Brimstone's possessions, with multiple interactable elements that are regularly updated.
Layout and Design[]
Brimstone's Office can be reached by taking the stairwell present in the courtyard of the Range. It is a large, underground room, with naked brick walls, lit by a single lamp hanging from the ceiling. The room is decorated with a Couch, multiple tables and chairs, and several shelves and boxes.
A glass-doored refrigerator and a bookshelf are shoved into the back corners. Brimstone also has a desk on the right wall, with a chair and desklamp. A numberplate is also present, reading BRM-411, above which is the word 'Baltimore' (implying that Brimstone is from Baltimore, Maryland).
The Office also has a map plastered on a bulletin board, which has updated over time. While it was originally located inside the office, it was moved to the outside in Patch 4.04. The board is periodically updated, adding or removing images pinned on it in relation to the progress of events in the story.

Adorning Brimstone's desk and walls are photos from various times in his life. Present in most of these is a friend of his, who is speculated to be who Brimstone is seen carrying in the No One Left Behind Playercard (see below). These photos are:
- Brimstone and his Friend, as children, in a park. Brimstone has the word 'Baltimore' written on his Shirt
- Brimstone and his Friend standing beside a firetruck, implying that they both were firefighters
- Brimstone and his Friend, both now in the military
- Brimstone, sitting on Bike, watching the sunset in a State Park
- Brimstone, now working at K-SEC, a commander to a Brigade of similarly-dressed soldiers
The No One Left Behind card shows Brimstone carrying the body of his childhood friend and long-time coworker. To the left, a fire truck and a burning building. To the right, an outpost with a military vehicle, both of which are representative of both positions he held with his friend.
A phone is present on the couch, which plays a voicemail from one of the Agents when interacted with. On the desk, one can find Brimstone's Laptop. This, too, can be interacted with, and shows a email sent to him. Both the voicemail and the email are periodically changed as time passes.
A small table at the back of the room has an interactable record player. When clicked on, it plays a short song. An album cover on a nearby chair reads 'Love is Radiant - Lloyd Porter'. This is in honor of Lloyd Porter, owner of bakery 'Bread Stuy', who passed away in 2020 due to Covid. In subsequent patches, the song played here has been changed to 'Evening Prowl' (Patch 4.0) and then 'Dimension Intention' (Patch 4.08).
The record player was also used as a teaser for Brimstone's office: In Patch 3.08 (the patch before Brimstone's Office was added to the game), if one tried to access the Office, they would be met with a Brick wall. If one stood next to the wall and listened carefully, Love is Radiant could be heard playing softly inside.
Added in Patch 4.01, a single copy of Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem, The Raven, is also present on the desk. Notably, Edgar Allen Poe had lived a lot of his life (and then had eventually died) in Baltimore - the city where Brimstone is implied to be from.
In Episode 4 Act 2, several changes were introduced to increase the visibility of the office, and to let it be discovered by more people. This included, as stated above, moving the Bulletin Board outside (it was relocated in the hallway outside the shooting range). Alongside this, on a wall near the entrance to his office, a modified version of the Brimstone Spray is present with an arrow pointing towards the structure.
Periodically Updated Content[]
Much of the content that is in the Office is updated every patch. For ease of archiving, all the voicemails and emails are archived in different pages for each episode, with only the current episode's content being shown on this page.

Voicemails[]
As stated above, the voicemails available on Brimstone's phone are routinely changed. An archive of those added during this Episode has been made here. In the patches where multiple voicemails are present, the next one begins playing automatically after the current voicemail ends.
Patch 6.0 Voicemail[]
Brimstone, the Nightmare came to me with a vision, different from the rest, I-... I saw the walls holding our world together fall apart. I felt the wind go still, I could smell the bitterness of blood and bile. I heard small, uncertain voices crying out, and I could taste the fear. There was so much of it, like the whole planet had fever.
So I climbed, I climbed this... tall cliff. It was jagged as bone, stretching up, dizzying. But with broken fingers I reached the top and saw the end of our time. A silent window, stretching over the ocean, filled with dead faces. And then I woke up. Brimstone, I have seen many things in my line of work but... we must not let this come to pass!
Fade's voicemail this Patch talks about a dream that she had, sounding unnaturally shaken and distraught. According to her, it was a 'vision' that was brought to her by Nightmare (the pseudo-sentient manifestation of Fade's radiance in her mind[1]), showing the entire world in ruin. In the voicemail, she described with uncanny detail the horrors that she witnessed in the dream.
The dream was terrifying enough to have Fade reduced to almost crying by the end - and given that Fade's radiance made her deal with the nightmares of everyone around her constantly, something that could scare her to this extent must have been terrible indeed. From the voicemails in the next patch, we know it even caused her to develop chronic insomnia.
It seems to be no coincidence that Fade had this dream soon after the Nexus on Omega Earth was activated (albeit temporarily, much to the relief of the Protocol) by Ω-Astra. While we still aren't fully sure what the Nexus is or what it does, Fade's vision does give us a frightening look at what could have come to pass had the Nexus been allowed to activate fully - or if it were to be activated again in the future.
Patch 6.01 Voicemails[]
Hello, Brimstone. I have concerns about our dear dream seer... er, not the usual ones. She's not sleeping well. I see her up and wandering at all hours, afflicted in unique way. Always troubled, I can tell. Her power is an asset, but not at the cost of her life. Is there something we can do? She is not wont to ask for help, so I will as in her stead.
Both the voicemails of this Patch continue where last Patch left off, with Fade now suffering from sleeplessness due to her past nightmare. It had gotten bad enough that even the other Agents were starting to take notice, with Cypher urging Brimstone to do something and help her.
A nice touch is that the two voicemails we were also from the two Agents who were confirmed to have a friendly relationship with her - Cypher has always had a healthy respect for her powers and her skill at finding hidden information, while the Agent Insights: Fade article confirmed that Fade spent her free time reading with Omen[2].
Patch 6.02 Voicemail[]
Hey, Brimmy. There's a jam session tonight. Training room, South wing. Sova tells me you play bass, be there.
Breach's voicemail this patch didn't do much to push forward the plot, but it does further develop the relationship between him and Brimstone. The two Agents have historically been at odds with each other due to their differing ideologies and histories, but had been making tentative efforts to patch up their relationship. This time, it took the form of Breach inviting Brim over to a Protocol jam session.
Although not as obvious, the voicemail does also tell us something about just how large the VPHQ is. The fact that Breach needed to mention that the training room was in the "South wing" implies that there are several training rooms, and probably multiple wings too. For reference, the large arena in which the Agents fought Maxbot during the WARM UP cinematic was all enclosed in a single training room - showing just how massive the VPHQ is.
Patch 6.03 Voicemail[]
Hey, Brim. So... For my radiant training, Sage says I gotta open up more, and the easiest way is to write it out. So... Here goes.
Dear Brimstone, I hope you're well. I have some things I would like to share. First, thank you for having me on VALORANT. Saving the world and using my powers is a dream come true. Second, I know we don't always agree. Your rules are too strict. Please consider how crazy a curfew is for grown arse adults. I would suggest lightening up by... 30%?
Training with Sage has given me some fresh perspective. I get that I can be a handful sometimes, but my best work comes when I can be myself! I need room to freestyle and spread my wings. If you give me space for that, I can do great things for the team.
Third... sorry about the gun range, I'll fix it! Okay, that's it.
As with last patch, this voicemail also doesn't do much in terms of the narrative, but instead serves as 'character development' for Phoenix. In it, he opens up to Brimstone, giving some feedback and comments about his life in the Protocol.
Patch 6.04 Voicemail[]
Brimstone, I'm sorry, but I gotta call you out on this. You are too soft on Kingdom. I know K-SEC meant something to you. They gave you something when you needed it, I get that. But the more we dig into everything, the more that company is stuck in the center and I do not like it.
You know my history with them. We take the good with the bad. But the shit they get away with- [pause]. Your past with them is clouding your judgement. Get it sorted.
This patch's voicemail from Skye shows her calling Brimstone out on his attitude towards Kingdom, assumedly sent shortly after Gekko's recruitment. Gekko, of course, has a bad history with the megacorporation (and especially K-SEC, it's paramilitary subdivision) - his buddies are almost certainly creatures that they created, and were locked up at a K-SEC facility in Los Angeles before Gekko broke them out (only narrowly avoiding capture himself[3]).
Apparently, the issue between Gekko and Kingdom had been raised once he was recruited in, with Brimstone taking a stance defending Kingdom. Skye, having fought against Kingdom and their exploitation of nature in her homeland before joining the VP, naturally felt the need to respond to this.
The voicemail also does give us some new information about Brimstone's past - from Skye's comment about K-SEC "giving [Brimstone] something when [he] needed it", it's implied that he joined them while going through a tough time in his life. Looking through his backstory, the most obvious event that this could refer to was the death of Tariq Porter, his childhood friend, possibly during their time serving in the military together.
Patch 6.05 Voicemail[]
Ayo, Brimmy Brim! Hear me out. I love the room, for real, but like... my crew needs their own space sometimes and it's a little crowded right now. So, check this: what if we knock down some of the walls, combine my room with the one next door, double it up! Eh? Eh? Lemme know what you think!
Once again, Gekko's voicemail this patch does not really have any content about the central plot, nor does it hint at new information about old content, serving solely as a neat and humorous character moment. Gekko, having just moved into the VPHQ, finds the allotted living space too small to house himself and all five of his creatures - and so asks if it'd be fine to "knock down some walls" and join his room to the one next door.
Emails[]
As stated above, the emails available on Brimstone's laptop are routinely changed. An archive of those added during this Episode has been made here.
Patch 6.0 Email[]
This email from Brimstone follows up on the events of the REVELATION cinematic, the City of Flowers map trailer for Lotus, and the various emails and voicemails that preceded it. Brimstone confirms that the opening of the Nexus on Lotus by the VALORANT LEGION has not had any major repercussions on Alpha Earth (yet), however, Astra is attempting to understand them.
Brimstone recognizes the difficult and dangerous work of Skye, Astra and Harbor, mentioning that, had Astra and Harbor not been on site, the situation may have been much more dire. He ends the email by saying that the situation will likely not be resolved for a while, possibly meaning that another series of events may take place in the meantime.
Patch 6.01 Email[]
In a welcome change of pace, Viper's email to Brimstone this patch didn't pertain to the main story progressing with the Nexus, instead going back to conclude an unresolved issue with a past subplot.
When the team was on vacation, and Raze and Killjoy kissed (making Nanobomb the first canonical ship in VALORANT's Universe), how the rest of the team would react was left unresolved. By the Protocol's official rulebook, 'fraternization' between the Agents was explicitly forbidden, since having romantic relationships could impair their decisions and their performance while on the field.
Given that the two had started dating, it seemed that Brimstone had revoked the infamous 'No Fraternization' rule, effectively opening the doors for any form of romantic relationship among the Agents. Viper, while still considering this attachment to be a 'risk', deemed it acceptable for these changes to be made official.
Patch 6.02 Email[]
With the plot arc surrounding the Nexus and the Astral Guardians finally over, the emails (both the ones found in Brimstone's Office and those on Icebox) moved on to tease the next coming Agent - in this case, Gekko.
Killjoy, looking for a quirky gift to give to Raze, chanced upon the fact that Kingdom had apparently bought up the entire supply of eelpouts (a family of fish named so for their resemblance to eels, consisting of around 300 individual species). The email was a hint that Gekko's creatures were developed from Kingdom's experimentation on these animals.
Several oddities have been noticed with Killjoy's mention of 'eelpouts' as the type of fish she was looking for. For once, eelpouts are an immensely wide range of animals, and saying "Nobody has eelpouts" is about as general as saying "Nobody has fish". More prominently, however, all of Gekko's buddies bear a striking resemblance to another species of aquatic animal - Axolotls[4].
The creatures all have protrusions emerging from the sides of their heads, similar to the external gills of Axolotls, alongside some other similarities in appearance. They're also very easy to breed in captivity, due to which they're used extensively for scientific study, and also kept as pets - making them a much better potential gift than an eelpout. They are also native to Mexico, which is of significance since Gekko is Mexian-American.
It is unclear whether these discrepancies are intentional, or if they are merely an extreme set of coincidences.
Patch 6.03 Email[]
Continuing with the teasers for Gekko, this patch's email from Jett tells us more about what's going on with Kingdom's research on the creatures. Apparently, "weird things" were spotted near a Kingdom facility in Los Angeles, causing unease among the local residents.
Jett decided to go and investigate the situation for herself. From what was shown in the Patch 6.05 Homescreen[5], she took Reyna and Cypher along with her as backup, any potentially some other Agents who we didn't see. The mention of Los Angeles in this email along with the one in Icebox were a strong hint towards out next Agent being from the city.
The explicit mention of "dinner crowd" in the email could imply that the strange sightings only occurred at night, suggesting that the creatures are nocturnal (another trait they would share with Axolotls). However, it's uncertain if this is the correct interpretation of the line, and it's possible that it just refers to people generally not wanting to be out at night.
Patch 6.04 Email[]
This patch's email was from Brimstone directed to Gekko, advising him on good practices on the field (also being a not-so-subtle message for the players). Incidentally, this is the first time we've seen Brimstone sending an Email directly to one specific Agent - previously, it'd always been either from an Agent to him, or from him to all the Agents collectively.
There is not much information to be gathered from this email. From the mention of Harbor reporting Gekko's training scores to Brimstone, as well as Gekko's own voicelines to Harbor referring to him as 'coach', it can be inferred that Harbor has been placed responsible for teaching him how to fight.
Patch 6.05 Email[]
Reyna's email this patch provided some information about Gekko. Following him breaking his buddies out from the K-SEC facility they were trapped in, Kingdom was desperately trying to find him, but it seemed that he managed to get away undetected. The mention of the creatures as "K-SEC's stolen property" also practically confirms that the they were made by Kingdom's experimentation.
